Rumi is a spiritual reference for many Muslims who consider him  a leader in Islamic faith and as I grew up in this faith, all this poetry has finally resonated in me.

“In your light I learn how to love.

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes Art.”

― Rumi

I have, over the years, felt like I had my ass between two chairs and it seems that, Muslims and atheists couldn’t agree more on my case, I went awry!

When suddenly this thought made me smile and rather than feeling misunderstood on both sides, I realised I am holding in the palm of my hand a new vision. There are as many spiritualities as there are hearts and you should have the right to remain unclassified as far as faith is concerned. How can one be right about life and people with a binary idea of things, subjects and especially faith?

Why does Humanity need labels?  It seems that without it you have no existence in the eyes of the world. If you need more than a word to define who you are or what you believe in, it means you can’t be labeled. Therefore do you not exist?
