Emily is an artist
Emily is an artist who squats a sawmill to create a new way of living. The conventionalism of the sawmill, including its machines and tools is being destroyed by reusing and reinterpreting the place.
Whilst taking away the pressure and rules of the modern world, the artist is creating a new order in the existing universe. Simplicity and spontaneity prevail.
We took three minutes to converse with her about life.
CanPepRey: Good morning Emily, how are you today?
Emily: The devil follows me day and night because he is afraid to be alone.
C: The most interesting thing about artists is how they live
E: A free spirit takes liberties even with liberty itself.
C: Since a three-dimensional object casts a two-dimensional shadow, we should be able to imagine the unknown four-dimensional object whose shadow we are. I for my part am fascinated by the search for a one-dimensional object that casts no shadow at all.
E: Our heads are round so that thoughts can change direction.
C: Thank you for your time. See you soon!
E: The future is a monotonous instrument.
